The activity started at the end of September 2001 with the advertisement of the project inside our school.

We singled out the students interested in living this experience, amomg them some young people "having different abilities".

They had weekly afternoon meetings. During the first three months they translated the comedy "The hypochondriac" by Molière, from French into the dialect of Terni through Italian.

At this stage it was easy to stop and think about the universality of some human characteristics which make us fell more European and without time.

We considered in fact the hypochondriac of Molière very similar to some people we know well nowadays.

An important aim we gave us with this activity is that of integration of people "having different abilities" which attend our school.

We gave them  important parts in the comedy which at the same time did not stress them too much. A great help came from the other students very clever to let them realize when talk and act.

Our friend Alessandra had an important role in the theatrical work as she made a sort of "logbook".

When  the translation of the comedy was finished, students wrote the script by computer and they gave one each actor. They had many rehearsals and it was always very nice to meet.

The group is characterized by a great armony; the work is carried on serenely, with a spirit of collaboration and discipline, students usually arrive late but slowly realize that punctuality means respect of the others.

On Friday, day of rehearsals, the theatrical company, once left the classrooms, has lunch and this is a good opportunity to cement friendship and solidify relationship.

The serene atmosphere which characterizes our activity is helpful for everyone, as everyone finds a human condition in the theatrical experience, a increase of his selfesteem, an occasion of good desire to be at the centre of attention.

The reherasals took two months.

Then we planned the costumes and stage designs, then we work to their making and finding.
